Primal Blueprint 101

The myPrimalCoach program is based on the Primal Blueprint developed by Mark Sisson. The Primal Blueprint offers a set of instructions (the “blueprint”) for how to create optimal health, body composition, fitness, and longevity, based on principles of evolutionary biology.

The Primal philosophy is really quite simple: Your body is designed to thrive in certain conditions but not in others. When you make everyday choices that provide your genes with what they need and expect, you build health and wellness. When your lifestyle is not aligned with your genes, poor health and accelerated aging ensue. 

The Primal Blueprint is organized around 10 Laws:

Following these laws would have been completely natural for our ancestors. Today, not so much. Although the laws are simple, the modern world isn’t designed to support eating whole, natural foods, moving a lot throughout the day, spending plenty of time outdoors, and so on. You have to make intentional choices to do so. It takes effort, but it’s oh so worth it!
